Art about Inequality and Taxation?
On Thursday, August 30 at 6pm, the NC Justice Center’s Budget and Tax Center will host a group viewing of the exhibit “Poor Quality: Inequality” at the Center for Advanced Hindsight.
The exhibit is part of the center’s Artistically Irrational series. It features works by 34 artists who were invited to create innovative and engaging artwork after a stimulating discussion on social and economic inequality, wealth distribution and taxation.
What is a Tweetup?
This is the first-ever tweetup hosted by the Budget and Tax Center and the North Carolina Justice Center.
A Tweetup is an in-person meeting of people who use social media to engage with the Budget and Tax Center. This Tweetup is an opportunity to view the “Poor Quality: Inequality” exhibit and socialize with other North Carolinians interested in issues of inequality and progressive tax policy. We also encourage participants to live tweet at the event.
Do I need a Twitter account or Facebook page to attend?
No! While we are interested in bringing together people who regularly follow the Budget and Tax Center and NC Justice Center on Twitter and Facebook, we welcome anyone interested in these policy issues.
Please RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
