Public Policy Advocacy

Justice Center advocates work on a daily basis to fight for state and federal public policies that benefit low-income North Carolinians. Whether it’s lobbying members of the General Assembly and the state Congressional delegation, appearing before state administrative agencies or speaking out at public events and in the news media, the Justice Center is widely recognized as North Carolina’s leading voice for progressive policy options that promote economic justice.

This web page is your portal to learn about and participate in the Justice Center’s public policy advocacy.

Justice Center Legislative Agenda lists the key social, political and economic justice issues in North Carolina on which the Justice Center is working. Also find the results of the previous year’s advocacy agenda.

The Justice Center Legislative Update, the Justice Center’s electronic legislative newsletter is e-mailed weekly during the legislative session to keep readers up to date with latest state and federal legislative developments.

NC Policy Brief Each week during the state legislative session (and periodically between sessions) this newsletter provides in-depth analysis of one or two key issues confronting state policymakers.
