Originally hailing from Frederick, Maryland, Timothy is a Raleigh transplant and still getting used to southern weather. Earning his BA in Journalism and MA in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution from Salisbury University, Tim’s university experiences kickstarted his career in journalism. During 2020, Tim served as a multimedia journalist in the Washington DC area, covering topics including the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Black Lives Matter protests, and the January 6 insurrection at the Capitol.

Tim is excited to be with the NC Justice Center’s Fair Chance Project, advocating for making the criminal justice system more fair from arrest to reentry.

Tim plays guitar in his free time and will never miss a chance to tell you a good story.
