“All working North Carolinians deserve the support Wake County extended to its employees”
RALEIGH (November 7, 2016) — The North Carolina Justice Center applauds the decision of the Wake County Board of Commissioners to provide paid parental leave to county employees.
This new county policy will allow county employees to recover from the birth of a child, welcome a newborn home from the hospital, or bring home a newly adopted or foster child. We are pleased to see Wake County join the growing list of North Carolina counties and municipalities offering paid leave to their employees.
We feel strongly that all working North Carolinians deserve the support that the Wake County extended to its employees today.
