Defenders of Justice
Justice Circle Heba joined the NC Justice Center as Policy Advocate for the Budget & Tax Center in July 2018. Previously, Heba enjoyed the opportunity to work in the areas of community development, advocacy, and indigent defense. Heba holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University, as well as a Juris Doctor and an MBA in Policy and Planning from the University of New Mexico. Her policy interests include economic justice, multi-system involved youth, and the intersection of legislative budgeting and the social determinants of health.
