Parker Martin graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2016 with a degree in Economics and Management. Upon graduation, he worked as a College Adviser with the Carolina College Advising Corps. During his two years of service at Beddingfield High School in Wilson, North Carolina, Parker increased access to post-secondary educational opportunities for students from historically underserved communities. While at Beddingfield he also served as the Site Coordinator for The Gentlemen’s Agreement, a mentoring program for young men of color.

Parker received his Master of Public Policy degree from Duke University in May of 2020 and worked as a Senior Analyst at NCGrowth prior to his time at the Justice Center.
