RALEIGH (March 20, 2025) – In the next few days, constituents across the state will personally deliver a letter to the office of their respective Congress members in every district. The letter—signed by over 500 current and former health care professionals, including ECU Health—urges lawmakers to reject any federal cuts to Medicaid, a program that has broad bipartisan support and provides critical health care coverage to millions of North Carolinians.

They will also present a powerful storybook containing nearly 100 personal stories and photographs from North Carolinians who have been positively impacted by Medicaid. These stories highlight the real-life consequences that cuts to Medicaid would have on families, seniors, people with disabilities, and rural communities.

The addresses of Congress members are below, along with contact information to get in touch with the advocates who will deliver materials to each office. Advocates welcome media coverage of the letter deliveries and are available for interviews.
