The NC Justice Center Endowment Fund: Empowering Change for Generations

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, every day we work to dismantle barriers, empower communities, and create lasting change.

But to truly transform lives and build an equitable future where everyone can thrive, we need your support to ensure that our work continues for generations to come.

We are asking you, and other dedicated donors like you, for a transformational gift, in addition to your regular, annual donation.

Our goal is $1.5 million, which, if reached, would seed our endowment fund and give us $60,000 return in interest on the first year.

The North Carolina Justice Center is committed to advancing social and economic justice for all. The Endowment Fund is a powerful way to create a lasting impact.

By contributing to the fund, you will help secure the future of our mission and ensure that our programs—focused on advocacy, policy change, and community empowerment—are sustained and grow.

We need you.

Your transformational gift will ensure the North Carolina Justice Center’s ability to respond to evolving needs & opportunities.

Now is the time to stand for justice, security, and equity.

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of our donors, we have the opportunity to grow our impact. Together we can make lasting change for generations to come.

Through your investment in the endowment fund, we will be able to:

  • Secure long-term sustainability for critical programs
  • Respond to emerging needs in our communities
  • Strengthen our capacity to advocate for meaningful change

What is an Endowment Fund?

An endowment is an investment fund set aside for the long-term support of the North Carolina Justice Center. The endowment fund remains in perpetuity; the annual returns generated by the fund support daily operations.

The North Carolina Justice Center Endowment Fund provides stability by diversifying our funds and reducing our vulnerability to changes in the economy. As such, an endowment provides predictable support that sustains the work of the North Carolina Justice Center over the long term.
