RALEIGH (January 18, 2017) — The North Carolina Justice Center applauds the efforts of the City of Raleigh to improve the lives of its employees by raising the wage floor.
This is an important first step, and we look forward to working with city leadership to finish the job by providing a comparable increase to first responder personnel.
By raising employee wages, Raleigh joins an impressive and growing list of cities and counties in North Carolina that have chosen to increase their competitiveness and boost the local economy.
